The Canadian-American Chamber of Commerce will hold its 4th Annual Awards Banquet on Wednesday, February 20, 2013. This year’s awards will include Contributor of the Year, Large Business of the Year, Small Business of the Year, Chamber Cheerleader, Volunteer of the Year and Friend of the Chamber. All distinctions for 2012 as we get set to start 2013.
This year, we will again award a LifeTime Achievement Award for a Canadian, over 65 years of age who lives and works from the Texas region, creates jobs and engages in philantropic work. Last year, we honored Jim Treliving of Boston’s Pizza with our first lifetime of achievement award. This year, the honor goes to Don Carty, former boss of American Airlines and who currently sits on a number of boards including Big Brothers/Big Sisters Lone Star.
Each year we take time to honor our members who continually give of their time and resources to make our organization a success. Success defined by members helping members to position and market their businesses. This year’s event will take place at Brookhaven Country Club in North Dallas, off 635 between Webb Chapel & Marsh Lane. The cost per attendee is $125 in advance only. To join in the festivities, contact us at 972-331-2508 or visit our website at www.dfwcanadianchamber.com/events to register online.
