Canadian Tourism Commission (CTC) launched yesterday its new consumer website (www.keepexploring.ca), which replaces the 3 different consumer websites we used to have: Canada.travel, KeepExploring and Explorelikealocal.
For a more background, check out the press release on the corporate site (http://en-corporate.canada.travel/content/ctc_news/consumer-site-merger-2013-keepexploring).
The CTC, Business Events Canada group, will be present at the upcoming Tour du Canada Golf Tournament at The Tribute Golf Club in The Colony, TX on May 29, 2013 presented by EnCana Oil & Gas with our tournament partners BEC, Air Canada, WestJet, Boston’s Pizza, The Keg Steakhouse, Matthews Southwest, The Dallas Stars, Golf Whistler, Travel Manitoba, SCA Promotions and Destination Halifax. Locally, Sandi Galloway represents the CTC for business sector travel and highlights the many benefits of utilizing Canada’s many convention options.
Three regions of Canada’s vast selection of vacation and adventure destinations will be represented. Whistler offers great golf and ski vacations as well as area spas and other hot spots. Meanwhile, Manitoba offers a wide variety of arts and culture, remote resorts, fishing lodges and Churchhill, MB known as the polar bear watching capital of the world. East, but not least, Halifax, NS will be represented by Destination Halifax which offers great festivals, maritime activities and the famous Blue Nose.
Thanks a lot to all of you at CTC who contributed to that project and to our partners – DDB, Tribal and FCV – to make this happen. I would also like to acknowledge Stephanie Sirois for her invaluable help on that project.
