Irving, TX – Bob Bassen, former Dallas Star and Director of Alumni
The Dallas Stars Alumni Association is very excited to announce the Inaugural Community Chest Charity Game this March 22, 2014 immediately following the Stars game at the AAC. Fifteen Dallas Stars alumni have committed to playing alongside a selection of Youth Players from amongst your Hockey Associations. The goal is to raise funds for the Stryker Family, your Youth Hockey Associations and future community needs. The DSAA, with the generous support of the Dallas Stars, have laid the framework for a great day of hockey.
We now reach out to you, friends of the Stars alumni. By helping us to get the word out and build enthusiastic participation, your leadership will ensure an exciting event for all. Each of us as alumni, recognize that it is your heartfelt commitment to help the Stryker Family, Youth Hockey and our Communities that is key. Together as one hockey community, the DSAA Community Chest Charity Game will be a great success for this and many years to come.
Please find attached a “Stars Promo Flyer” PDF that may help encourage all to become a Fundraiser. Also with the help of FOX Sports, some of our key alumni participants have produced a short video to help you build excitement, http://www.Dallasstars.com/alumnigame, please share the link. You can donate and become a fundraiser from this same link. A $52 tax deductible donation receives a thank you gift of 2 tickets to the March 22 Stars game and Community Chest game following.
